[What made my experience unique was…] The amazing and kind people that we met along the way. Being completely immersed in the culture at the homestays. Spending time doing what I love in the ocean at the Galapagos, and the constant adventure.

It exposed me to new cultures and perspectives, as well as opened my world to new environments and ways of thinking.

I have bettered my ability to adapt to new cultures and environments, and have made so many lifelong friends.

After spending so much time in a community so different from mine, I will always hold that time with those families in my heart.
