Odessa is devoted to transformational learning and has worked in diverse classrooms throughout the US and across the globe for 12 years. Her educator journey has included living and teaching at a tribal-run school in South Dakota serving students from over 15 different tribal nations, teaching at international and Thai government schools in Chaiyaphum and Phuket, Thailand, and coming back to her roots in public and charter schools in Baltimore City. She loves serving as a trip leader to foster cross-cultural connections in authentic and meaningful ways. Adventures with Odessa often involve spontaneity, laughter, live music, and meeting new people. When Odessa isn’t traveling with Global Works, she can often be found lost in a good book, cuddled up with her dog, Delta, or following honeybees around the garden.
