Marcela Moya Curran

Marcela is a Costa Rican Physical Therapist who happily stumbled upon leading volunteer groups, first those focused in healthcare, and then all kinds of volunteers! She’s always looking to plan her next trip abroad and can list Peru, Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Panama, the USA, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Camodia, Iceland, and the Dominican Republic as the countries she’s visited so far, and hopes those are only the first of many. When she’s not leading groups or working with her patients, getting to know every single Costa Rican waterfall is on her to do list. She’s excited to get to know volunteers who are visiting the incredible place she proudly calls home, and help them get to know Costa Rica through the eyes of a native who loves her job, patients, and country!
