James Palma Herrera

James has been working with Global Works since 2019. When he is not leading Global Works groups he works as a guide in Machu Picchu and all around the Cusco region. He studied in his small beautiful hometown of Ollantaytambo which is located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Then he studied Tourism in the prestigious National Institute of Khipu. He is part of a youth organization in his hometown where he participates in dancing as well. He likes to be outdoors, which is why he loves leading people from all over the world through the Andes. James loves History, literature, playing football, and hiking as well. One of his favorite hobbies is running along the sacred valley river. James is a fluent Quechua speaker, in addition to Spanish and English! He is very excited to guide groups around the world this season.
