Fabricio Ochoa Serrano

Fabricio is an experienced tour guide in Peru, Machu Picchu, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. Born and raised in the Andes of Cusco, the capital of the Inca Empire, has made him a hiker, a traveler, and a passionate student of Archaeology & History. As he went through school he fell in love with sports, traveling, and nature. He also loves animals, kids, and hiking. Fabricio graduated from tourism school and completed social sciences studies at the National University of Cusco. Over the last 10 years he has worked as a tour leader for international groups traveling in his native Peru. He has been a trip leader for Global Works since 2017 and the Peru and Ecuador Country Director since 2019. The difficulties and challenges of this pandemic were opportunities for him to discover and develop new skills like carpentry and cooking. As tourism slowly reactivated in Cusco, he decided to start up a small pizzeria to employ himself and two other entrepreneurs. This season, he is hard at work planning Peru programming for Global Works students – along with Trip Leading all over the world!
