Eirann is a PhD candidate in the NYU Department of French Literature, Thought, and Culture. She is currently working on a Certificate in French Studies and a thesis on Decolonial Feminist Ecologies of the French Antilles. Her background includes experience teaching Elementary and Intermediate French at the undergraduate level. She also spent a year with the Washington, DC AmeriCorps Campus Kitchens Project, where she developed and edited recipes to write a cookbook of ideas to reduce food waste, cook for large groups, and use leftover food. Eirann is the co-founder of Ecologies Entrelacées, a digital humanities platform focusing on gender and environment in the Francophone Caribbean, highlighting scholars in the field through guest lectures and other creative interventions. She is delighted to lead students through France, where she currently splits her time.
