Carlos García Hernandez

Qualifications

Universitat Jaume I Castelló, BS Communication Sciences

Location

  • Spain

Carlos grew up in Siete Aguas, a beautiful town in the southern Mediterranean coast of Spain, surrounded by olive trees and mountains. Nowadays he’s based in Valencia, where he teaches Spanish as a foreign language and collaborates in international cooperation projects. Carlos received his bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and recently finished his masters in sustainable local development and disaster risk reduction. Carlos loves exploring and learning! This spirit brought him to circumnavigate the southern hemisphere on board the Peace Boat in 2015. After 5 years teaching Spanish as a foreign language in a multicultural class environment, he knows how to mediate with different cultures. This teaching experience gave him the tools to offer the students a pleasant learning process based on self-confident, awareness and fun. Leading trips for Global Works is always fun and the best way to learn. Safety is his first priority in outdoor education environments. He has his Wilderness First Response certification, so he feels prepared to lead trips in remote rural areas.
