Nicaragua Summer Service Adventures

Located in the heart of Central America, Nicaragua is a striking land defined by impressive volcanoes, immense lakes, vast agricultural areas, and warm, welcoming people. Nicaragua is considered to be one of the poorest nations in the Western Hemisphere and Nicaraguans, especially those living in rural areas, face many challenges. Global Works has partnered with local grassroots groups and non-governmental organizations on carefully selected Nicaragua community service trips that target improving conditions in the areas of public health, environmental conservation, education, and community and youth development. Our Nicaragua volunteer trips work in communities deemed too small to receive governmental assistance and our efforts are thus focused where the need is the greatest.
