Why Fiji is the Right Choice for Your Summer Service Program

Fiji provides a distinctive cultural experience, allowing you to be welcomed into and live within a traditional Fijian community, where you can engage with local customs, practices, and daily life.

From ropes courses, to swimming under watefalls, to snorkeling and boating around the Yasawa Islanda, Fiji is a true adventure.

This trip has made me so confident in my own ability to branch out and stay strong when things get difficult. And after seeing the Fijian culture in such depth I really want to continue exploring the world.

The village homestay made the experience very unique. Instead of the resort oriented Fiji that is known around the world, I had the opportunity to learn about the local parts of Fiji. My homestay mother also took care of me as one of her children which was very heartwarming.

I loved the fact that the trip included both service and cultural exploration, coupled with the fact that we didn’t have our devices made it truly magical. I was fully able to absorb everything around me and learn the lifestyle of real Fijian villagers.
