SUMMER SERVICE ADVENTURES FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
NON-COVID-19 RELATED CANCELLATION AND TUITION REFUNDS
Global Works is not required to provide any refund for late arrival, early withdrawal, or dismissal with cause.
- $700 Deposits are non refundable after December 31st.
- For cancellations within 75 days prior to program start date through conclusion of the program, tuition is non-refundable, including but not limited to: physical or mental illness or injury, voluntary departure, personal emergencies, and participant dismissal. Please see COVID refund policy above for COVID-19 specific cancellations.
- Cancellations made more than 75 days prior to departure result in a 50% tuition less deposit refund.
- If a program is cancelled due to lack of enrollment, participant/parent may elect to change programs (if available) or receive a full refund (including deposit). Global Works is not responsible for any other costs, airfare, and incidental expenses incurred by a participant/parent preparing for a cancelled trip.
- Global Works offers a Program Interruption and Protection plan which covers withdrawal for health reasons and family emergencies. Details are available in your login page following registration.
COVID-19 TUITION REFUND POLICY
We understand that all of us face a unique environment regarding COVID-19 and travel conditions and restrictions beyond our control are a possibility.
- In the event that Global Works cancels a program due to COVID-19, or in cases where COVID-19 travel restrictions make travel to the destinations impossible, students are encouraged to transfer, penalty free, to another available program or receive a full refund of tuition paid. Deposits are non refundable after January 15th and would transfer as a lifetime credit applicable to a future Global Works program for friends or family.
- Cancellations for reasons other than specified above will be subject to our traditional cancellation and tuition refund policy.
Please note that the COVID-19 Tuition Refund Policy does not apply in the following cases:
- Participants who choose to withdraw over general concerns, anxieties related to COVID-19
- Local city or state virus conditions that fall short of prohibiting travel
- Any regional return quarantine requirements that might apply to your program
- Cancelation due to failure or refusal to comply with destination entry requirements

- Global Works reserves the right to cancel where travel to a destination has been deemed unsafe. Such determinations are made at the sole discretion of Global Works. When a program is canceled for safety concerns including, but not limited to, natural disasters, political unrest, or infectious disease outbreaks (not including COVID-19), tuition less deposit is refundable and program deposits and application fees may be applied as a lifetime credit or transferred to a friend or family member for future travel.

COVID-19 TUITION REFUND POLICY (CUSTOM GROUP TRAVEL)
We understand that all of us face a unique environment regarding COVID-19 and travel conditions and restrictions beyond our control are a possibility.
- In the event that Global Works cancels a program due to COVID-19, or in cases where COVID-19 travel restrictions in the destination make travel to the destination impossible, Global Works will make every effort to provide an alternative destination option. Participants will have the option to transfer to the alternative program penalty free, or receive a full refund of tuition paid less deposit.
- Please note that Global Works continues to operate in some locations where Center For Disease Control (CDC) and State Department advisories are at high levels.
- Cancellations for reasons other than specified above will be subject to our traditional cancellation and tuition refund policy.
