What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
My favorite part about leading trips is watching students go through the the transition of “omg that’s so weird” to “oh, that’s just different.” I love observing people learn that world is massive and diverse and that maybe “our way” isn’t the only way to do something.
What’s something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
I can’t live without my purse I suppose. It fits a water bottle and book perfectly!
Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
Hmmmm. A tie between walking the Camino de Santiago and Cambodia.
Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
I sing opera.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I rock climb, travel, and just started taking Spanish classes!
What languages do you speak?
English & French
If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Be flexible and resourceful. There is always going to be something that doesn’t go according to plan. When that happens and the going gets tough, some of the best memories are made, or at least you get a good story out of it!
