Eirann Cohen

Eirann is excited to combine her passions for teaching and traveling by leading her first trip with Global Works! Eirann has been both a teacher and student in many different regions of France over the past ten years. She has now settled in Paris to write her PhD dissertation, which focuses on French Caribbean literature and art. Whether it’s bungee-jumping from the world’s highest bungee-jump bridge in South Africa, sharing a four hour-long meal in an old French castle with a host family, or snorkeling in the Caribbean with sea turtles, so many of her favorite memories involve travel. She loves to partake in these experiences with others, and she is especially thrilled to be able to share some of her favorite places (and cheeses) of France! When she isn’t traveling or writing, she loves to cook, garden, and adventure outdoors.
