What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
I love taking the classroom to foreign countries. I also enjoy teaching young travelers pro tips on smart traveling.

What’s something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
Music! and a good book

Tell us about a favorite memory from a trip you have taken
On a trip to New Zealand we met a shaman who works with petrified wood from the swamps of New Zealand. It was really cool to see his art and learn about his process. At the end of our visit, he game me a necklace and blessed it for me.

Nativi Village, Fiji

I can do a really nice handstand

What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to be active. Canoeing in the bayous of Louisiana and baseball are two of my favorite activities.

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Some new experiences can be scary at first, but if you have a good attitude and an open mind, the rewards are limitless!
