Meet our 2019 Ambassadors: Dominik on Galapagos Marine Adventure
Dominik will be 15 when he takes his dream trip to the Galapagos Islands with Global Works, where he hopes to use his Spanish skills and learn more about Marine Biology. Currently he lives in Michigan with his dad and two younger brothers. They like to take advantage of the
outdoors by fishing, boating, swimming, and camping. Dominik also loves movies and spending time with friends. He is in the Honors program at his high school and excels in all subjects, but particularly loves Biology. His biology teacher says that “Dominik loves learning about nature and everything living. [He is] a truly valuable asset to absolutely any team” and “a true team player [who] always manages to foster positive discussions and bring the best out of other students.”
He is taking scuba diving class and training to be a better runner, plus joining the swim team next year. Dominik hopes this trip solidifies his intention to study Marine Biology, hopefully at a university in Florida. He can’t wait to see the environment and wildlife of another region.
