Desiree Haney-Brown

Dee been traveling full time for a year now as a solo traveler. She’s worked with youth and young adults for the last 7 years as a teacher, camp leader, and mentor. She’s gained experiences while traveling such as leading different projects with rescue horses, llamas, and goats on farms or about different kinds of agriculture methods. Dee loves leading trips because she gets to positively impact others’ lives even if it’s in the smallest of ways to become the best version of themselves. Engaging and learning from others life experiences and being able to positively influence one another is one major reason Dee is excited about this summers groups. Dee believes leading trips and guiding young adults to learn more about themselves and the world around them not only benefits them, but also teaches them to become more patient and understanding with others because no matter how perfect someone’s life may seem, it doesn’t mean they can’t grow from a situation.
