Penny Bencosme

When she’s not leading a Global Works trip, Penny likes to do photography and spend time with her closest friends. During her high school and college years, Penny actively engaged in community service around the greater New York Area as well as around the world. Her passion for community service led me to help in projects in Nepal, Costa Rica, Cameroon, and her home country the Dominican Republic, centered around community building and aiding community members with specific needs. She decided to lead trips with Global Works because it combines all her favorite things – working with students, adventure, community service and the opportunity to progressively become a better leader. Penny’s passions include traveling and photography.
