Talia Santos

Talia began working with Global Works as an intern in 2018 at the Costa Rica satellite office and transitioned to leading trips in 2019. Since then, she has led student trips to Puerto Rico, Spain, Costa Rica, and Fiji. In 2021, she became the Puerto Rico Program Director. Talia is deeply passionate about driving grassroots change, creating strong communities, educating youth, and addressing social disparities. Her work in Puerto Rico reflects this commitment, with the program focusing on sustainable development and amplifying the voices and needs of the Villa Del Rio community. Outside of her work with Global Works, Talia pursues a variety of passion projects, including silversmithing, travel, and organizing community-based art retreats through Earth Tones Art Collective.
